The Animal Rescue Site - Just click a button and help feed an animal in need of assistance. No cost to you, no spyware, nothing scarier than a couple of ads that are easily closed. I've been clicking these buttons for years myself and nothing evil has come from it. But it's done a lot of good for animals who really need every bit of help they can get. The system works so that a sponsor company agrees to pay a certain amount toward care for homeless animals for each click the site gets, so your click on that button can mean that an animal in a shelter gets a bowl of food that day.

The Rainforest Site - A click of a button saves some rainforest without you having to do or pay anything. I shouldn't have to explain why this is cool and important. ^_~

The Ecology Fund - Several free button-clicking sites like the ones above, which help with causes such as cleaning up air pollution, and protecting Jaguar habitat.

I never outgrew colouring in stuff. I love it, and it helps distract me and keep me at least relatively sane. Only now I do all that on my computer, with the GIMP instead of pencils or crayons or whatever. I still love to draw, and use whatever media I can find when I'm not using the computer, but when your tablet is broken and you're using a mouse... colouring is so much easier and more satisfying than trying to sketch. So here's some of the best sites for lineart that I've found so far:

Colouring Pages - LetMeColor.com has a huge range of stuff to colour in, including cars! Lambo lineart, omg. I can hardly believe my luck in stumbling across it. @o@ <3
